ATC Coach is a mobile aviation training application designed to help pilots practice radio communications, improve phraseology, and build confidence on the radio through guided practice, feedback, and repetition.

Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address — used to create your account, authenticate access, and communicate important account-related information.
Voice Recordings
When you use Voice Mode, your spoken responses may be recorded, transmitted, stored, transcribed, and analyzed so they can be graded and used to provide coaching feedback.
Voice recordings and transcripts are retained until you delete your account, after which they are removed within approximately 30 days unless retention is required by law.

How We Use Your Information

AI and Automated Processing
ATC Coach uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to transcribe voice recordings, evaluate responses, generate coaching feedback, and improve training experiences.
These systems may process your voice recordings and related training data in order to provide the Service.
Automated feedback may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect and should not be relied upon for real-world aviation operations.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate portions of the Service.
Current providers may include:
- Supabase — account management, database storage, and secure file storage
- Groq — speech-to-text transcription
- OpenAI — speech-to-text transcription and related AI services
- Anthropic — training evaluation and coaching feedback
- ElevenLabs — synthetic ATC voice generation
- Sentry — crash reporting and diagnostics
- Apple Push Notification Service — notification delivery
- Railway — backend infrastructure hosting
- RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification
These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services.
Each provider maintains its own privacy practices and policies.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Subscription and Payment Information
When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
Apple shares limited purchase information with our subscription management partner RevenueCat, including:
- A unique purchase identifier
- Your subscription product and renewal status
- Purchase and expiration dates
- The store environment (production or sandbox)
We use this information solely to determine whether your account has active premium access. We do not use it for marketing.
Children
ATC Coach is intended for users who are at least sixteen (16) years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If you believe a child under 16 has created an account, please contact us and we will investigate and remove the account as appropriate.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
You may request to:
- Access your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your information where applicable
- Object to certain processing activities where permitted by law

Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through:

When your account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize your associated information, including training progress, recordings, feedback, and account data, within approximately 30 days unless retention is required by law.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Service
- Maintain account functionality
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our agreements
After deletion requests are processed, data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period unless legal retention requirements apply.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and encrypted storage where available.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
